Compost is an organic fertiliser that is very good for plants. Composting brings many benefits, such as contributing to cleaning the environment, having an additional source of organic fertiliser to fertilise plants at a low cost because it is easy to do, and being able to take advantage of available resources and materials at our resort. Since the beginning of October, we have started collecting nearly 51kg of coffee ground and 250kg of pre-processed food waste for composting.
This saves on the cost of buying fertiliser each year.
