VUNGOC&SON: When Vietnamese Elegance Meets the Horizon of Lang Co

Along the pristine shores of Lang Co Bay, where the sea meets ancient mountains in a landscape of remarkable serenity, summer unfolds in its most captivating form. This July, renowned Vietnamese fashion duo VUNGOC&SON (Vu Ngoc Tu and Dinh Truong Tung) will present a new chapter in their creative journey with “Serenade of Summer” — a celebration of fashion, culture, and nature in perfect harmony.

Returning to the Source of Inspiration

More than a fashion show, the event taking place on 3 July 2026 at Banyan Tree Lang Co is envisioned as an artistic dialogue between haute couture, symphonic music, and the cultural soul of Central Vietnam. Having showcased their collections at some of the country’s most iconic destinations, VUNGOC&SON now return to Hue and Lang Co, where timeless traditions and untouched natural beauty continue to inspire.

A Runway Framed by Sea and Sky

As the golden hues of sunset wash over the coastline, Banyan Tree Lang Co’s beachfront will transform into an extraordinary open-air stage. Stretching nearly 250 metres, the runway follows the curve of the shore, creating a seamless connection between fashion and the surrounding landscape.

Rather than relying on elaborate stage design, VUNGOC&SON allow nature itself to become part of the performance. More than 60 models will walk against the backdrop of rolling waves, ocean breezes, and the changing colours of the evening sky. The final light of day will serve as the show’s most beautiful spotlight, illuminating a collection inspired by freedom, wanderlust, and the spirit of summer travel.

A Symphony of White and Cultural Heritage

The allure of “Serenade of Summer” extends beyond its flowing silhouettes crafted from luxurious fabrics such as taffeta, organza, silk, and linen. At its heart lies a deeper cultural narrative.

One of the evening’s defining moments will feature 65 musicians from the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Nguyen Khac Thanh, performing against the breathtaking backdrop of Lang Co Bay. Their music will be complemented by the graceful presence of Professor Thai Kim Lan, the show’s ambassador, whose lifelong dedication to preserving Hue’s cultural identity brings an added dimension of authenticity and heritage to the event.

For VUNGOC&SON, fashion is a reflection of culture and identity. For Banyan Tree Lang Co, it is a destination where nature, heritage, and contemporary luxury coexist in perfect balance. On 3 July 2026, audiences are invited to witness a unique celebration where Vietnamese beauty, artistry, and culture come together in a memorable summer symphony by the sea.
