World Cleanup Day is one of the world’s largest environmental action movements, bringing together more than 139 million people across 212 countries and territories to address the global waste challenge. Beyond cleaning up waste, the campaign aims to raise community awareness, encourage positive behavioural change, and inspire meaningful action for the environment.
In support of World Cleanup Day on 20 September 2026 together with the Let’s Do It Vietnam network, on the afternoon of 18 September, Laguna Lăng Cô partnered with Trường THCS Lê Đức Anh. to organise a community environmental cleanup at the resettlement area of Phú Cường Xuyên Village, Xã Chân Mây – Lăng Cô Commune, with the active participation of more than 85 students and associates.
In just 1.5 hours, our volunteers collected more than 306,8 kg of household waste, filling over 47 bags along the local roads. The activity helped improve the surrounding environment and living spaces while raising awareness of environmental responsibility and the importance of working together to build a cleaner, greener community.
