The highly anticipated showdown between Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks (Japan) and Martarello Group S.R.L (Italy)—two leading names in the global fireworks industry—attracted significant attention from both local residents and international visitors. The grandstands reached 100% occupancy, further demonstrating the strong appeal of DIFF 2026 to audiences from Vietnam and around the world.

Representing Japan, Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks presented a performance inspired by the spirit of Wabi-sabi, featuring elegant and refined fireworks sequences combined seamlessly with music and light. Songs such as New Genesis, Always With Me, the soundtrack from Ryomaden, Stranger Things, Running Up That Hill, GOLDEN, and the Vietnamese song Những Ngày Trời Bao La helped create an emotional “concert of light” across the Da Nang sky.

Meanwhile, Italy’s Martarello Group S.R.L once again demonstrated the excellence of its long-standing fireworks tradition with its performance titled “Echoes Becoming Future.” Classical European melodies blended harmoniously with cinematic, multi-layered fireworks effects, creating a captivating artistic journey. In particular, the inclusion of the Vietnamese hit See Tình delivered unexpected and memorable moments that resonated deeply with the audience.

Beyond the fireworks competition itself, the third night also served as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange through a variety of outstanding artistic performances. From the opening act “Hồn Đá” (Soul of Stone) and the beloved Japanese song “Kokoro no Tomo”, to the energetic performance by Vietnamese singer Hoàng Thùy Linh featuring See Tình and Bo Xì Bo, each act contributed to an evening rich in cultural diversity and artistic expression.

Join us in revisiting the most memorable moments of the third competition night of DIFF 2026—where culture was brought to life through music, art, and dazzling fireworks illuminating the sky above the Han River.
