VTV.vn – Tens of thousands of spectators watched the spectacular fireworks competition between the Da Nang (Vietnam) team and the reigning champion, China.
On the evening of May 30, 2026, the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2026 officially opened on the Han River bank in Da Nang city with the theme “Da Nang – Connecting Horizons”. Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee, leaders from several central ministries and agencies, the 5th Military Region, provinces and cities nationwide, and international guests.
The first night of the competition featured a fireworks display between the Da Nang team (Vietnam) and the Chinese team, with the theme “Nature”. It was a perfect artistic performance combining music , color, and light, bringing a sense of exhilaration to the audience.
The performances by the host team Da Nang (Vietnam) and the defending champion China painted a vibrant picture of life, the beauty of the green planet, and the aspiration to connect humanity with nature, taking the audience on a sublime journey of light, music, and art masterpieces.
The opening ceremony offered a unique artistic space with the appearance of many famous artists such as Ho Ngoc Ha, Hoang Hai, Nguyen Tran Trung Quan… creating a vibrant atmosphere along the Han River.
The Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026, themed “Da Nang – Connecting Horizons,” conveys a message about the connection between people, between tradition and modernity, and between local identity and the spirit of international integration.
