Cobra Puma Pro-Am 2026 took place from 4–6 September at Laguna Golf Lăng Cô, bringing together 140 golfers from 30 countries. Now in its ninth edition, the event continued to combine Pro-Am competition with networking, experiential activities, and fundraising for the community.
After nine editions, Cobra Puma Pro-Am remains an annual gathering for the local and international golf community. This year, the tournament returned to Laguna Golf Lăng Cô for three days of competition, giving golfers the opportunity to compete, connect, and experience one of Central Vietnam’s renowned golf destinations.
A Pro-Am Platform Connecting Golfers from Around the World
Cobra Puma Pro-Am 2026 was played in a Scramble Pro-Am format, with each team comprising one professional golfer and three amateurs. Team members played from the tee and selected the most advantageous ball position after each shot before continuing play.
This format gave amateur golfers the opportunity to compete alongside professionals while placing an emphasis on teamwork, strategy, and collaboration throughout each round.
The 2026 edition brought together 140 golfers representing 30 countries. This international participation contributed to a vibrant atmosphere of cross-cultural exchange throughout the event. Beyond the competition, golfers also had the opportunity to experience Laguna Golf Lăng Cô and connect with fellow members of the wider golf community.
The tournament’s gala dinner also provided an opportunity for golfers, businesses, partners, and guests to come together, network, and reflect on the journey of the ninth edition.
Continuing to Create a Positive Community Impact
Fundraising remained a key part of Cobra Puma Pro-Am 2026. This year’s event raised more than VND 2 billion, with proceeds supporting the Understanding the Heart Foundation and Kianh Foundation in Điện Bàn.
The funds will support initiatives including life-saving congenital heart surgeries for children, as well as contributing to facilities and educational activities for children with disabilities.
Across its editions, community engagement has remained an integral part of Cobra Puma Pro-Am. The event therefore goes beyond creating a platform for golfers to compete. It also serves as a bridge connecting the golf community, businesses, and meaningful social initiatives.
Continuing the Journey at Laguna Golf Lăng Cô
Bringing three days of competition at Laguna Golf Lăng Cô to a close, Cobra Puma Pro-Am 2026 marked its ninth edition with strong international participation and meaningful contributions to community initiatives.
