Artisan Documentary is a video series capturing the life, memories, and lifelong journey of preserving the Lùng Tùng drum-making craft of Artisan Trương Thị Hường.
Through simple yet heartfelt footage, viewers can glimpse the quiet daily life of an elderly artisan and her reflections on the challenges traditional crafts face in the midst of modernization.
The series is produced as part of the project “Commercializing and Digitizing the Traditional Knowledge of Lùng Tùng Drums by Artisan Trương Thị Hường.” The initiative is proposed and implemented by VietHED (Vietnam Heritage Education), with sponsorship from Laguna Lăng Cô and produced by Mơ Production.
The project aims to preserve traditional craft knowledge while creating opportunities for these crafts to continue and develop sustainably in contemporary life.
Through these simple yet emotional stories, the project hopes to inspire a love for heritage, nurture cultural pride, and share the values of Vietnam’s traditional crafts with a wider audience.
