Each year toward the end of the calendar, Laguna Golf Lăng Cô becomes a familiar destination for young Korean golfers participating in Winter Season training programs. Its continued role as host to international training camps underscores the club’s position and credibility as a leading venue for intensive golf training combined with resort-style accommodation and international exchange in Vietnam.
In early January 2026, Laguna Golf Lăng Cô welcomed a group of junior golfers from South Korea for a training program led by experienced PGA professionals with extensive backgrounds in coaching and competition. This year’s program lasted nearly two months and was launched earlier than in previous years, thanks to the stable weather conditions in Central Vietnam. These favorable conditions allowed the golfers to maintain consistent training intensity and better prepare for their upcoming competitive season.
Laguna Golf Lăng Cô was selected as the primary training venue due to its internationally certified 18-hole course designed by legendary golfer Sir Nick Faldo. The course’s diverse natural terrain-featuring a unique blend of coastline, sand dunes, and traditional rice fields-presents realistic challenges that help young golfers develop comprehensive technical skills, strategic thinking, and endurance for multi-day competitions.
In addition to the intensive training schedule, the golfers were accommodated within the integrated resort and enjoyed access to premium facilities and services, ensuring effective physical recovery after high-intensity practice sessions. Specially curated Korean-style menus tailored to athletes’ nutritional needs were also provided, helping maintain optimal physical condition and mental focus throughout the training period.
Evaluating the destination, PGA Coach Kim Do Huyn shared: “I am impressed by the quality of the course conditions and training facilities at Laguna Golf Lăng Cô. The greens are meticulously maintained and the short game areas and practice facilities fully meet professional training requirements. In particular, Hole 9 (par 3), with its beautifully designed bunkers and high level of difficulty, offers valuable challenges for the players.”
