Banyan Group’s first safari retreat has opened its doors to guests ahead of its official opening later this year. Ubuyu, a Banyan Tree Escape is the brand’s second resort globally and Banyan Group’s first property in Tanzania. Set amid the untamed landscapes of Ruaha National Park, home to one of Africa’s largest populations of lions and elephants, the intimate retreat offers curated wilderness experiences, communal dining at the Open Kitchen, and artisan-crafted villas inspired by Maasai architecture along the Great Ruaha River.
