Improving Flow and Enjoyment at Our Signature Starting Hole
At Laguna Golf Lăng Cô, we are committed to providing the best possible experience for every member. One area we’ve recently focused on is the Hole #1 tee box, which can occasionally become congested when players finishing Hole #18 join groups already waiting to begin their round.
To create a smoother, more relaxed start for everyone, we have introduced a simple new procedure for any player who wishes to continue play directly from Hole #18 onto Hole #1.
Who This Applies To
This procedure applies to:
- Players who started their round on a hole other than #1 (as directed by the Marshall) and are now completing additional holes.
- Players who began on Hole #1 and wish to play extra holes (e.g., 27 or 36 holes total).
It does not apply to tournament play using a shotgun start format.
The New Procedure – Step by Step
1. Book a Tee Time for Hole #1
A separate tee time must be booked for your continuation through Hole #1.
- For 27- or 36-hole rounds, this means two bookings: one for your initial start and one for when you expect to reach Hole #1.
- If starting on an alternative hole (with Marshall approval), a Hole #1 tee time is still required. Our team or your caddy can assist with booking.
2. After Finishing Hole #18
Proceed directly to the designated Staging Area with your caddy and buggy. Players may walk from the 18th green while the caddy parks the buggy.
3. Wait to Be Called Forward
Remain in the Staging Area until the Starter calls you to the tee box. The Starter will coordinate to let you tee off at your booked time or earlier if a gap opens up. While waiting, feel free to relax in the clubhouse or enjoy food and beverage services.
Our caddies are fully briefed on the new process and Staging Area and are ready to guide you every step of the way.
