Welcome Chef Oppa to Laguna Golf!
We are thrilled to introduce our new Head Chef, Verso Airween Pajaron – better known to everyone as Chef Oppa – who joined the Laguna Golf team in December 2025.
Though proudly Filipino, Chef Oppa has devoted much of his impressive 27-year career to mastering and innovating Korean cuisine, having led kitchens in some of the Philippines’ most beloved Korean restaurants as well as prestigious hotel properties. His passion for bold flavours, meticulous attention to quality, and warm leadership style have earned him the affectionate nickname “Chef Oppa” – a Korean term of endearment that perfectly captures his role as the reliable, caring “big brother” figure in the kitchen. Feel free to call him Chef Oppa or Chef Airween; he answers happily to both!
Under Chef Oppa’s guidance, we are excited to elevate the entire Food & Beverage experience at Laguna Golf. Plans are already underway to expand the main dining area and enhance the casual dining and bar spaces within the Clubhouse, creating more inviting spots to relax and enjoy great meals after a round.
Drawing on his deep expertise in Korean and Filipino dishes, along with strong experience in Western and other Asian cuisines, Chef Oppa is committed to offering a diverse menu that reflects the many nationalities among our members. Look forward to fresh takes on classics, new Korean-inspired specials, vibrant Vietnamese options, and much more – all crafted with the highest standards of taste and presentation.
