On January 7, the city of Da Nang officially announced the theme of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2026 (DIFF 2026). Accordingly, DIFF 2026 is scheduled to take place from 30 May to 11 July 2026, under the theme “Da Nang – United Horizons – Connecting Horizons”.
DIFF 2026 carries the message of a new image of Da Nang following the merger of Da Nang City and Quang Nam Province. The theme reflects a harmonious fusion of nature, cultural, architectural, and tourism icons, and the modern spirit of a dynamic, well-connected destination – one that preserves national identity while embracing integration and growth in a new era.
The themes of the six competition nights will follow the narrative of Da Nang’s development journey, highlighting its renewed position, potential, and forward-looking mindset. The six themed nights are titled: Nature, Heritage, Culture, Creative, Vision, and United Horizons.
According to the plan, DIFF 2026 will feature 10 competing teams, including:
- Da Nang Fireworks Team – Vietnam
- Z21 Vina Pyrotech Team – Vietnam
- China – Jiangxi Yangfeng Art Fireworks Display Co., Ltd
- Italy – Martarello Group S.R.L
- Germany – Josef Steffes-Ollig Feuerwerk GmbH
- Portugal – Macedos Pirotecnia Lda
- France – Lux Factory POK 2.0
- Japan – Tamaya Kitahara Fireworks Co., Ltd
- Macau – Apple Pyrotechnics (Macau) Co., Ltd
- Australia – Skylighter Fireworks
Notably, DIFF 2026 will welcome four new teams, promising fresh highlights and exciting surprises for this year’s competition.
Similar to the 2025 season, DIFF 2026 will be held over six competition nights. With the overarching theme “United Horizons”, the festival is expected to deliver world-class fireworks performances that showcase international excellence, elevate Da Nang’s global connectivity, broaden perspectives, and strengthen ties with the region and the world.
