On September 11, 2025, Laguna Lăng Cô proudly continued its “Seedlings Mentorship” scholarship journey by awarding scholarships to 27 underprivileged students from Chan May – Lang Co Commune, Hue City. The total value of scholarships granted at the beginning of this school year amounted to VND 87 million. Each student will receive monthly financial support from Laguna Lăng Cô until they turn 18 years old.
Launched in 2007 by Banyan Group, the “Seedlings Mentorship” scholarship has grown into a long-standing commitment to sharing and empowering young generations. The year 2025 marks the 10th anniversary of the program’s implementation at Laguna Lăng Cô, Vietnam.
Beyond covering tuition fees, uniforms, and school supplies, the scholarship program emphasizes long-term companionship: regular home visits conducted by Laguna staff, extracurricular activities in Hue and Da Nang to equip students with life and soft skills, thoughtful gifts on Tet and Mid-Autumn Festival, as well as tutoring support and close follow-up throughout each school year.
In addition to financial assistance, the scholarship provides invaluable emotional support, encouraging resilience and determination. It also offers career guidance in the hospitality industry, creating opportunities for students to nurture their dreams and become responsible citizens who contribute positively to the community.
This milestone event once again reaffirms Laguna Lăng Cô’s unwavering commitment: building a sustainable community, walking alongside the younger generation, and sowing seeds of hope for a brighter future.
