On the afternoon of October 20, Scoot Airlines flight TR314 departed from Singapore Changi International Airport carrying more than 170 passengers and landed at Da Nang International Airport, marking the airline’s first flight to the city.
The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the Central Region Airports Authority, the Immigration Police at Da Nang International Airport, Da Nang International Airport JSC, Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Operation JSC, and Scoot Airlines, organized a series of welcoming activities including a traditional water salute for the aircraft, cultural performances, flower and souvenir presentations, and group photo sessions.
The new direct route between Singapore and Da Nang, operated by Scoot Airlines, currently offers three flights per week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.
Service frequency is expected to increase to seven flights per week starting January 2026. All flights are operated using Airbus A320 aircraft, with a capacity of 180–186 seats.
According to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, tourist arrivals from Singapore to Da Nang have shown steady growth. In the first nine months of 2025, Da Nang welcomed 69,488 visitors from Singapore.
With the participation of Singapore Airlines, Vietjet Air, and Scoot Airlines, the launch of this direct route increases total flight frequency between Singapore and Da Nang to 24 flights per week, further strengthening bilateral tourism cooperation and development opportunities in the near future.
