About the "English is Fun" at Laguna Lăng Cô
“English is Fun” is an annual community education program, initiated and sustained by Laguna Lăng Cô since 2014. Its goal is simple yet meaningful: to help local students improve their English proficiency. Moreover, the program aims to build a love for the language through interactive and enjoyable lessons.
We understand that English is the key that opens the door to the wider world, bringing with it opportunities for learning and growth. However, instead of dry lessons, “English Is Fun” creates an open learning space where laughter and knowledge intertwine. The classes are designed to be lively, featuring team games, interactive activities, group discussions, and cultural exchanges with international tourist volunteers and Laguna Lăng Cô staff.

2023 - Now
After a temporary hiatus due to the pandemic, “English is Fun” officially returned on October 5, 2023, at Loc Vinh Secondary School. This comeback affirmed Laguna Lăng Cô’s strong commitment to maintaining its community-focused activities.
2019
The year 2019 marked a period of outstanding growth for the program. “English is Fun” expanded its scale to three secondary schools in the area. Specifically, during this year, we organized over 120 classes, attracting 168 guest volunteers and 114 staff members. The graduation of 300 students is the clearest evidence of the project’s positive impact.
2018
In 2018, the program was conducted from February to August at three primary schools (Nuoc Ngot 2, Loc Tien, and Binh An Primary Schools).
After eight months filled with memorable moments, we held a graduation ceremony for all the students on September 5. The event provided an opportunity for the children to meet, and together, explore the diversity of the world through games and informational booths about different countries.
2014 - 2016
The period from 2014 to 2016 laid a solid foundation for “English is Fun.” Starting with small classes, the program gradually grew thanks to the enthusiasm of our team and the support of compassionate guests.
