Closing Ceremony of the National Tourism Year – Hue 2025

The Closing Ceremony of National Tourism Year – Hue 2025 is approaching, concluding a year-long journey marked by significant milestones for the Ancient Capital’s tourism industry. Under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, the Hue City People’s Committee, and the Hue Department of Tourism, the organizer Bamboo Artists Agency has officially announced the Hue Mega Concert series. This series features large-scale artistic activities within the framework of the Closing Ceremony of National Tourism Year – Hue 2025. Kinh do xua - Van hoi moi Program

The first highlight of the event series is the Closing Ceremony of National Tourism Year – Hue 2025, taking place on the evening of December 20, 2025, at Ngo Mon Square. The program is issuing invitation tickets to delegates and local residents. Interested tourists can contact travel partners to receive travel combos that include concert attendance and tours of the monument complex. This is one of the new initiatives contributing to the promotion of sustainable tourism by collaborating with travel and hospitality partners to combine high-end art experiences with Hue’s heritage tourism.

The night features singer My Tam, one of the most influential “national” artists in contemporary Vietnamese music. Her appearance is expected to create a powerful resonance, attracting tens of thousands of spectators to Hue during the year-end season. Additionally, the Closing Ceremony will feature Pham Anh Khoa, Xuan Dinh K.Y, Ngoc Khue, Bach Tra, DJ Huy Ngo, Shumo AG, and Izara Thien Nga, promising an artistic program that blends tradition and modernity with a novel production style.

The scale of the Hue Mega Concert stage

Alongside its artistic value, the Hue Mega Concert series serves as a vital catalyst for stimulating tourism in the Ancient Capital. Following the impacts of natural disasters in October, Hue tourism requires a strong push to regain its momentum. Large-scale music events attract not only local audiences but also large numbers of visitors from neighboring provinces and major cities. The influx of tens of thousands of spectators will positively impact service industries such as accommodation, transportation, cuisine, and retail, thereby contributing to the recovery of the local economy.

Furthermore, organizing high-caliber artistic activities at historical sites like the Imperial City helps position Hue as a new music tourism hub in Vietnam. This model of combining heritage with contemporary performance enhances the visitor experience and opens new trends for cultural tourism development. This event helps shape “Music Tourism” products by offering concert tickets bundled with monument tour privileges through travel partner packages.

With two consecutive nights and a massive artist lineup, the Closing Ceremony of National Tourism Year 2025 is expected to be the definitive highlight that concludes the year while opening a new path for artistic tourism in the Ancient Capital for years to come.
