Tens of thousands of spectators along both banks of the Han River enjoyed a spectacular night as favorable weather conditions supported the full displays from Z121 Vina Pyrotech (Vietnam Team 2) and the Polish team during the second competition night of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF) 2025. With the theme “The Art of Creativity,” the second night of DIFF 2025 brought audiences on an explosive emotional journey filled with surprises and memorable moments.
The Audience Grooved Along with Vietnam Team 2
On the second night of DIFF 2025, Z121 Vina Pyrotech delivered a top-tier performance titled “Aspiration to Rise,” meticulously choreographed in five parts, symbolizing Da Nang’s journey from past to present and toward the future.

The show opened vibrantly with multicolored fireworks bursting to lively music, painting the sky with modern and dynamic hues that portrayed a youthful and ever-progressing Da Nang. True to the “Art of Creativity” theme, Z121 stunned the audience with continuously shifting firework colors and became the first team in DIFF history to use colored smoke fireworks.
Warm golden tones combined with soft, slow-falling firework effects – like shooting stars – led viewers into a nostalgic past. Like a slow-motion film, the performance recalled Da Nang as a bustling trade hub in the 17th century, welcoming ships from around the world.

The highlight came when the sky lit up with the image of Vietnam’s red flag with a yellow star, recreated in fireworks – brilliant and full of pride. The melody of “As If Uncle Ho Were Here on the Great Victory Day” resounded amid thunderous applause, marking a sacred moment commemorating 50 years of national reunification and Da Nang’s liberation.
Few DIFF performances have ever prompted the audience to sing along so passionately, resonating with every emotional beat. It was a segment praised for its emotional depth, technical finesse, and artistic richness.

Poland Continues Da Nang’s Dragon Legend Inspiration
Drawing from the legendary dragon and Dragon Bridge themes first introduced in DIFF 2024, the Polish team returned with “Dragon Love”, a performance filled with Polish brilliance and poetic storytelling.

Epic symphonies such as Prophecy, The Power of Love, and romantic ballads like Dark Side Story and Epilogue blended beautifully with unique fireworks effects. Spiral trails, high-altitude bursts, and cool-toned colors – blue, silver, and violet – transported viewers into a deep oceanic realm.
As the music softened into more lyrical rhythms, fireworks unfolded like fans in golden and orange hues, mirroring the moonlight’s glow.

In particular, the climax came during God of Lighting, where the Polish team masterfully unleashed fireworks from multiple launch points, forming a seamless ribbon of light. Every drumbeat and musical note aligned perfectly with the fireworks’ movement, making each explosion seem as if it were dancing to the music – eliciting awe from the entire audience.
The Polish team’s creative display genuinely touched hearts, delivering a beautiful message of love and the aspiration to transcend differences – a spirit DIFF always strives to embody.
