The third Seedlings Mentorship Program 2017 ceremony
On July 19th 017, the scholarship presentation ceremony of the third Seedlings Mentorship 2017 was successfully held in Angsana Lăng Cô with full of joy and touching moments. The event has welcomed the participations of representatives from the Hue Department of Education, mentees’ families, their teachers, classmates, and especially all mentees and mentors of the first and second batch as well as Laguna Lăng Cô’s management and associates.
After the official 2015 launch of the Seedlings Mentorship scholarship program by Banyan Tree Group in Laguna Lăng Cô, this year Laguna Lăng Cô presented the scholarship to three more local students aged from twelve from Nuoc Ngot and Loc Tien primary school, increasing the number of students benefited to nine. In addition, the program selected six qualified associates coming from different departments in Laguna Lăng Cô serving as mentor’s role, accompanying with our students until the age of eighteen.

Through the event, everyone has had a chance to know more about difficulties of the local children which may prevent them to continue studying or purchasing their dream. More than that, a chance to admire the big effort they are making in this life that leads them to the scholarship.
The Seedlings Mentorship program is a part of a long-term commitment of Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts to support and bring the best things to local communities. This program has the association of Laguna Lăng Cô’s staffs as mentors who will guide and inspire the underprivileged children aged from twelve to sixteen, help them rise above the circumstances and have comprehensive development.
