This September, Laguna Lang Co Resort, in collaboration with the luxury lifestyle brand Lexus, has hosted the Lexus Challenge 2019 golf tournament with a record-breaking prize purse for Vietnamese golfers. The tournament is part of VPGA Tour series. It is a turning point for the development of golf in Vietnam.

Instead of plastic water bottles, water is filled in glass cups or tumblers which were provided to the players. Golf atheletes can use the customized tumblers and refill water at hydration stations around the golf course. Golfers and spectators in the tournament are encouraged to be take action on eliminating single use plastic and to help raise awareness.
