Laguna Lăng Cô Hands Over another Water Filtration System to Nuoc Ngot 1 Primary School

On the occasion of the 2nd Laguna Golf Classic 2016 hosted by Golf Legend Sir Nick Faldo, management and associates of Laguna Lăng Cô together with Sir Nick Faldo made a visit to the Nuoc Ngot 1 Primary School to attend the handover ceremony of water filtration system in an effort to contribute to the community where the company operates.

The visit took place in the Nuoc Ngot 1 Primary School located in Phu Loc District, Thua Thien Hue Province. As part of the visit, Sir Nick Faldo, Laguna Management, Phu Loc Educational department representative, school principal, teachers, 150 students and medias spent quality time enjoying many fun filled performances by local students, as well as witnessing the opening of new water filtration system. Also at the event, Sir Nick Faldo, Laguna Management & Principal present the water bottles to Nuoc Ngot 1 students.

The event is part of Laguna Lăng Cô projects to provide clean water to local schools in effort to solve polluted environment issues which play important role in improving health and living condition for rural residents. In 2013, the project supported 2 local schools: Nước Ngọt 2 and Binh An primary school which allow 1,000 students to access plenty of clean drinking water. In 2016, Laguna Lang Co continues the project to support two more local primary schools: Nuoc Ngot 1 and Loc Tien which allow more than 1,200 students to access clean water. The handover for Loc Tien primary school will be conducted in December. Each system costs about 26million Vietnam Dong and Laguna Lang Co also commits to guarantee these systems within 3 school years.

Since its opening in 2013, Laguna Lăng Cô has been actively participating in many community support projects. Assisting local community is one of Laguna Lăng Cô corporate responsibilities. Laguna Lăng Cô wants to help the poor, the elderly and especially the children in improving their lives through education, health and social services.
