Laguna Lăng Cô successfully held the English Is Fun Graduation 2017
Located in a remote area where English is seen as a “luxury” subject, young children from age 8 to 11 at some primary schools like Binh An, Nuoc Ngot 2 and Loc Tien Primary School have very limited access to modern English learning methods. In an attempt to improve the level of English proficiency in the community, and more importantly to bring the joy and passion of learning English to young children, Laguna Lăng Cô has developed the annual program named “English is Fun” since 2014.
To remark a successful completion of the English Is Fun program this year, on 17 August 2017, Laguna Lăng Cô was delighted to host the English Is Fun Graduation for all the students from the course in 2017 at Angsana Ballroom. This is the fourth English Is Fun course and for this year, we have brought fun and creative lessons which positively improve English level for more than 200 students in 3 Primary Schools: Loc Tien, Binh An and Nuoc Ngot 2.
The graduation was successfully held with the participation of all students from the fourth course, our resort guests and Laguna Lăng Cô’s staffs. During the event, all children were truly excited by the theme “Music and color” – which was highlighted by some corner of handmade musical instruments and creative corner set up by lovely natural material (leaves, rock) to evoke their creativity. There were also many exciting music performances and interesting outdoor activities such as face painting, flash mob dancing, chess playing to make them a memorable day full of joy.
