A ‘winter warmth’ in Central Viet nam

Laguna Lăng Cô is pleased to share the success of the ‘Winter Warmth’ program that took place on November, 23rd 2017. Central Vietnam is often suffered the rigors of weather. The more It gets cold in the winter, the more It rains heavily, which increases the risk of diseases and adverse impact on the lives of people here. With the aim of bringing a warmer and healthier winter to vulnerable children and the disable in Loc Vinh, Loc Thuy and Loc Tien commune, the ‘Winter Warmth’ program was organized by Laguna Lăng Cô with the participation of the People’s Committee of Loc Thuy Commune, the Office of Education and Training of Phu Loc District, and the associates of the world-class integrated resort Laguna Lăng Cô.

A ‘winter warmth’ in Central Viet nam

On that day, Laguna Lăng Cô organized a training session on “Prevent winter sickness for children and the disable”, what was led by Ms. Dam Thi Kim An – Master of Medical Social Work, Dean of Faculty of Nursing department, Da Nang university of Medical Technology and Pharmacy. Through the program, 30 gifts were donated to 30 underprivileged families. In addition, we also had operational renovate and upgrade homes for poor families in  Loc Vinh, Loc Thuy and Loc Tien communes. It is all thanks to the kindness of the golfers, guests participated in the ‘Cobra Puma Pro Am Weekend 2017’ tournament held at Laguna Golf Lăng Cô in September.

We hope that through this program, local people in Lăng Cô were able to get a deep understanding about how to prevent illness in difficult weather conditions as well as having a completely cozy winter.
